Welcome to La Maison Anglaise
La Maison Anglaise is an elegant 19th century house situated fifty paces from the central square of the beautiful historic 13th century bastide of Monpazier, one of the “plus beaux villages de France”.
There are two luxury apartments sleeping two and four people, your resident hosts Derek and Mandy Avery have gone out of their way to provide you with many home comforts to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. A garden and pool area offers a relaxing alternative to a days touring.
Each apartment offers a superking hypnos bed which can be divided into twin beds at your request, beautiful walk in shower rooms, lounge diner and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher, satellite TV and wifi. Furnished in a contemporary style but feeling spacious in this late 19th century building which formed part of a hotel until 1937.
Your hosts are on hand to recommend local attractions, the best places to eat, great markets the finest vineyards, and answer any other questions you may have to make your stay perfect
There are numerous UK airlines including British Airways, Ryanair and Flybe that fly into the nearby Bergerac airport, which is 30 minutes away by car or taxi.

We had an absolutely wonderful week staying at La Maison Anglaise. The flat was tastefully furnished and had everything we required. The pool and outdoor area is beautiful and immaculate and was perfect for cooling off in the hot afternoons.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week staying at La Maison Anglaise but sadly today we move on. The downstairs one bedroom apartment was perfect in every way; comfortable, well appointed and perfectly located in the heart of Monpazier.

A really excellent apartment in the beautiful village of Monpazier. The apartment was really well finished with everything you could wish for to make your stay enjoyable. The outside pool area was lovely, the pool nice and clean and the patio area very welcoming.

The apartment is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The bed is excellent! Derek and Mandy go the extra mile to ensure their guests are well cared for and attend to every detail. The shared pool is a lovely place to relax at the end of the day and we ate most of our meals at the table outside.
